I got an early 80's Onkyo Integra TA-R77 cassette deck in excellent condition in black. This could be my personal best in scoring electronics at TS's in the 2 years I've been doing it. Pathetic ain't it?

I'll post pics tonight.

TrexT, I think one good score makes the overall effort worthwhile. I think you made out quite well. Congratulations.

I'll trade ya, all I ever find is the BPC junk at $39.00, be it speakers, amps, decks....must be their magic number 'round here.

I think I know what I've been doing wrong regarding my TS gear hunting. I usually only went on weekdays and in the morning hours. Today I broke from that strategy and I scored. Coincidence? Probably is, but I'm gonna mix up the times and days I go. from now on.

Thanks.

Well, I still need to clean the heads and see if all the functions work. I don't know too much about this deck so I was fishing for somebody that has had one of these. Not much info about this model on the net either.

That's a VERY NICE Cassette Deck! I used to have one.

Thanks vintagestereo and bolly. It's retail was up there and unsurprisingly and to my benifit the bluebooks on most cassette decks have plummeted. I paid $15 so I'm happy.

Hey vintagestereo, any problems with yours while you owned it that I should be aware of? Like belts, rollers...

I had one of those Onkyo decks and liked it a lot. My son has it now, along with my 1972-vintage KLH 17 loudspeakers. He doesn't use the deck much but won't part with the speakers.
