Next week i will get a Pioneer LX-34B tube receiver. It's problem is, that one channel isn't working.
For fixing this problem i need the schematics of the receiver. does anybody have them? actually i've the schematics of a LX-34, but i think it's different from thr LX-34B.
Another problem is, that i have no information about the receiver. does anybody know anything about it?
THANK YOU!

AFAIK, the LX-34 and -34B used the same amp section (along with the sx-34 and I think the Allied-Knight 333), and the only difference was in the tuner section. Since your problem is in the amp section, you could prolly use the LX-34 schematic you already have, just don't use the tuner schematic as reference.

Thank you!
Do you know what's the difference between the pioneer LX-.. ans SX-.. models?

The LX-Model seems to have one more frequency ans seems to be the better one... what do you think?

I really don't know what sets them apart form each other, especially between the 34 and 34B revisions. I'm thinking that maybe the LX- series was the overseas market version of the SX- series, but somebody more versed on the earlier Pioneer models would prolly help you better. I know that the only real physical difference would be in the tuner, where the LX had shortwave and possibly a slight difference in the AM or FM tuning bands. The SX was just standard AM/FM that we're used to here.

I have a SX34B and has MW and FM only, no SW. It takes 110V as well as 230V power.
The SX34B uses tuning meter rather than magic eye tuning and the design of the MPX is different from SX34.

Hm, the difference between the SX-34 and the SX-34B is about the same as the one between the LX-34 and -34B, with the tuning eye and MPX, so it looks like the only real difference between the SX- and LX- models is the SW band on the LX.
And hellifiknow why they did two series for just that... mayhaps it is just an age thing, one being older than the other, who knows...
