Some Sansui I like

I had this pair a while back. Sad to say I got rid of them. Ive been on the look out for some time to repalce them but non i have seen came close to the codition of the ones i had :cry: Thought I would share a pic with you guys of the 999 series

The late 60s/early 70s sansuis are some of my favorites. I have the exact opposite problem of ckelly, I'm trying to find an AU-555 or AU-222 to match my TU-555.

The one Sansui AU-555 is near my back door, approx. 10 mins away :)

I've been watching the first one, still a bit much for something I dont really need right now (I've got more Sansuis laying around right now then I know what to do with.) :) I've been holding out for an AU-222, they go for $20-30 right now on eBay plus they are the same size as the tuner.

Heres a pic of my TU-555, yeah I know the knobs arent right but hey, it was $15. Right now I use it to listen to the radio while I'm on my computer.

CK those Sansui tuners with the round dial are available frequently on ebay. I personally find them fugly so I just pass right on by those. IIRC they don't fetch a whole bunch either.

Its a Japanese piece, which makes it very rare here in the US, it also makes the tuner practically worthless. I've only seen pics of 2, one on a Japanese site and one on eBay. Unfortunatly I missed the auction on eBay, I found it after it ended. Final price was around $12-13 if I remember correctly :(
