What mp3's are on your computer?

Here is a list of my mp3's, not downloadable, just to peruse if you get bored.

Almost all are in mp3 format since I play them on various pieces of hardware.

Most of my music has been imported into my computer and tagged although I keep the original cds and archive them in cases.

The list may take a minute or so to load:

I don't have any place to host my list, and I don't feel like listing out ~14000 songs, so we'll just say a disturbingly high percentage of all of the mp3s known to man. :D (OK, exaggeration, but I still account for 50% of the shared songs on itunes in my dorm, that's gotta be worth something...)

listen2rock, we actually have quite a bit of the same stuff. Except Nickelback. *slap* I don't have any Nickelback. Because Nickelback is horrible. :D But hey, whatever floats your boat, you could prolly say the same about me for some of my tastes. [Emo? anyone? anyone? :smoke: ]

BTW, what program do you use for your player?

Heh heh, just because its in my list, doesn't mean I have listened to it.

I mostly use iTunes since I like to add the artwork.

You can see my list here (http://www.uofmtiger.bravehost.com/) .

I have not updated it in quite a while, so it is not complete. However, you can get a decent idea of my craziness by scanning the 17,000+ tracks that are there. In my case, almost every song listed is burned from CD. I wish I would have had the hard drive space and the knowledge to burn to Flac when I started, but I wanted them for my Qtuner media player and Ipod and neither player would work with Flac. Lately, I have been burning my new CDs to Flac or Wav and then copying them to CD after I have them on my computer in lossless format for archiving.

For those that just want to see my albums (I made this list before the list above), you can see them on Guzzlefish (http://www.guzzlefish.com/collection.php?mediatype=C&username=uofmtiger). If you click the "view with thumbs", it will actually show the covers of each album, too. I really need to update both lists, but I am too lazy. :sigh:

drz01,

That is a huge collection! I have cut back my CD buying a lot since getting a subscription to Rhapsody. For me, it actually saves money. I am not as tempted to get out and buy every new album. Although, I still have to buy some CDs to make sure certain artist's collections stay complete.
