Greetings, not personally familiar with the XP-60. I have a very little XP brother. The XP series of speakers were generally produced in the 60s'. If any of the (unique) components need attention, this can be a significant issue. Also the personal value of a speaker is often due to its sound qualities. If you prefer to listen to classical music, XP series speakers are your friend. If rock is your preference - look elsewhere.

Hey there Fishers get a very bad rap .I have a pair of XP-60b got them for $20 ,made in the USA back in the 1960`s.They rock ,there in great shape ,woofers and tweeters ,no damage.Ive had them hooked up to a Kenwood 7070 that pumps out 130 RMS,they took it.Next a Pioneer SX -838 ,no problem ,listen to some Joe Cocker,no problem, then some Stones on a CD ,with my HAD ,Nice very nice warm sounding ,like they say ,tube like.Im going to clean them up and Use ,them .I think Fisher Speakers get a bad Rap ,I had a pair back in 1970 Xp`s dont remember the number .Bought them in a Audio Dealer on Madison ave in Manhattan ,big sale at the time buy one get the second one free.I think I paided $99.00 .My feeling is there not bad ,there not new england speakers AR,Advent ,KLH .There New York speakers .LOL.

They are decent speakers, and they'll work very well with an 800-C. They are not high-value, collectible speakers, so if you're thinking of buying them, certainly don't pay more than $50, tops, if they're in good cosmetic condition and all drivers work.

I personally think most Fisher speakers are not as bad as people make them out to be. I got some STV-860's a few weeks ago and love them! And I have had alot of speakers!

Hey i got them. Have to find my camera they sounds really good :). Top end and bottom end and really good midrange is warm and full. Bass is very tight not boomy. First impression very musical more so then the advents. Some plastic clolth covered grills. This small holes though out. Honestly they muffle the sound alot so took the grills off. I think there original found pic's of the same model had the same grill. Thinking making some kinda like the advents. There much smaller then OLA but sound very big. Pic deff comming.
