Sorry to all of you who missed day one of the Fest, as usual, Grumpy, his family, the sponsors, and organizers outdid themsleves once again, it was excellent, 10:00am to 6:00pm just isn't enough time to hear all the great equipment. My camera is a cheap POS so sorry about the quality of the pics, it's hard to keep them small enough to post, but you'll get a flavor of what it's all about!! The cake was cut before I could finish lunch, Dave.

My ears still hurt!!! Craig from NOS Valves had three rooms of tube amps, let me tell you, these amps are a real bargain and a real powerhouse at 60 watts/mono block, they made my Altecs sing!!!

I think Classic Audio owes us an explanation as to why they were in there, maybe "BACK-UP's", oops, that doesn't sound good when it comes to bathrooms!! :scratch2:

I was up there yesterday and am leaving again in an hour or so to go up today.
Lots of pics forthcoming I'm sure. There was more audio than camera's, but not by much.
I had a blast yesterday. My wife has officially lableled it the geek fest and though she stayed home, she pretty much nailed it. There are alot of goofy guys with some absolutely incredible equipment here. I had to apologize to Punker for drooling on his Oracle. I have table-envy.

Would have liked to have been there but work has prevented that and yesterday(saturday) I was in Dayton, Ohio putting together my old Edgarhorns for the new owner "2A3 Matt". He has a larger room than me and it has been his(and his wife's) dream to own a pair.
I am going back to my little 2-way like my avatar for now, just adding a JBL 2242 18" subwoofer.
Maybe next time I can attend the fun.
Thanks for the pics,
Ron

dgwojo - I wanted to ask a question , Where do you put all those Altecs??? Or, do you have a bed in on of the horn-loaded woofers?
When the volume was low to medium - with these small rooms - WOW what a treat!!!

I stack them, I wish my ceilings were taller, I'm going to build a wall of sound, 10 A7's, a pair of Model 19's, and a pair of EV Interface D's, it should be fun, problem is, my house will probably start sagging!! I sure was spoiled by that Craigs (NOSValves) tube amps, for dead flat on all settings it sure sounded pretty good!!
