Any of the women at the Fest going to report?

I would love to get some inside scoops with the perspective of one of the spouses. Is this part of the "For better or worse" that you were worned about? Have any good pics? So far all the pics with wives there is this funny glowing circle of light floating above the heads of the wives.

After coming to the AK fest this weekend, I feel that I am not SO ALONE. There are many other wives who live the same life. I should have had a clue 27+ years ago when Dave W. told me he did not have any money for an engagement ring. But what he had money for was a nice set of Altec Voice of the Theatre speakers. He told me it was a "sound investment". About a year later I did get the engagement ring. I picked out a big diamond-making sure it was a "sound investment". Over the years, I have enjoyed great sounding quality music and truly enjoy his hobby but not his decorating skills. He would have gray cabinets in every room if he had his way. For now there are 8 pairs or so down the basement along with an assortment of woofers, horns, drivers, crossovers, etc. My father used to tell me I should be grateful that he's not out running around. As the basement filled up with his gear, my father became quiet about things and just ended up shaking his head! Carol W. :angel:

Tim at one point wanted to paint one of our rooms gray and have some type of paneling -carpet type around the walls or something or other for his listening room. I do have to say that it never happend.

The room is on the first floor of my house, so i refused to have it redone that way.... and besides I ended up getting pregnant so he lost his listening room and now he is back in the basement with all his gear.

But I too since he has started audio have found to enjoy it more so than I did before. I actually had a system however I decided it wasn't the right one for me so Tim ended up with all the gear. :D

Since he has started audio I have seen alot of gear come and go in this house. I do have to say... the equipment has thinned out alot... maybe it was all my ranting. lol

Mrs. K., Carol is glad to see another spouse of an audio nut has also come around to our obsession, I mean hobby!! Sounds like the gray was inteded for those Altec A7 speakers, I think that would have looked great, Dave. :yes:
