Okay, it's been a gruelling couple of months, what with our upcoming move from Indiana to Michigan and everything that this entails. However, we've finally purchased our new house in East Lansing, and have sold our old house in Bloomington. And now that AK-Fest 2005 is over, I am actually beginning to find a few spare moments here and there! In other words, please expect to hear LOTS more from me now than you have during the past several weeks... :)

Welcome back Brian, after seeing the pics from the fest it looks like a good time was had by all. I scored a 1985 pair of LaScalas for my Almarro and Boy did they really open this thing up! :thmbsp: I like it alot!!

Thanks again Brian for coming out and allowing the members to enjoy some of your different lines. The Oblisks (sp?) were amazing in the Blue Circle room. I'm glad you brought them, otherwise I would never had a chance to hear these.

Brian,
You should not be gone so long like this again. You never know if I have $$$ to burn and you have not been there for me to spend it.

Just had to share a Fest moment here.

It was Saturday night, after supper and a few brews. I thought I'd see what was up on the other end of the hall for tunes. Poked my head into the blue circle room. Gilbert and Brian were there and we started to joke around. The two of them had me going, then Toze stepped in and Brian and Gilbert had us both in tears laughing so hard in short order. I haven't laughed that hard in long time. I can't go into details this is a G rated site, had something to do with a fart journal :lmao: If anyone gets a chance to meet and hang out with these guys, don't miss it, they'll keep you in stitches :thmbsp: Good times !

If Gilbert isn't an AKer he should be  He'd fit in great here :thmbsp:

It was great fun, hope to see you guys at the next fest !

great equipment. not only did it all sound incredible, but it was truly beautiful. small touches make a big difference and all your wares had that little extra... gilbert was super, knowledgable, friendly, no "airs," a class act. i'm saving my pennies! BrianB, glad to hear you'll be around more. moving is such a pain! hopefully it'll be over soon. :thmbsp:
sincere thanks for the effort you two put out.

Yes, Gilbert is truly one of a kind. And yes, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be asking him to come back next year! It's ALWAYS fun hanging out with Gilbert, and I know for a fact that he REALLY enjoyed AK-Fest 2005...
