I had business in the suburbs of Philadelphia earlier this week. For a variety of reasons, I opted to drive rather than fly. On the way home Tuesday night, I stumbled onto a very cool radio station as I surfed the dial in the metro Phila. area, WXPN FM 88.5 (www.wxpn.org). Affiliated with U Penn, I guess. Very cool... best R&R programming I've heard since WXRV in Haverhill, MA first went to its current format (ca. 1995). Just thought I'd mention it...

WXPN is the best station in the Philadelphia area, imo. I listen to the sister station broadcast from Harrisburg, PA. Great music, all the time!

Couldn't agree more...even though I'm in Califonria now, I'm still a WXPN member and listen to their webcasts. Not the same fidelity as their excellent FM signal, but the content is wonderful!
