Put a Lid on It is a good tune. It's not easy to categorize...I'm not sure that it's swing blues...but who cares it's a good tune. Thanks for turning me on to it.

Little Charlie and the Nightcats. I listened to some samples on Amazon and they're good. I checked out the info from them and they are from my neck of the woods - NorCal - and I hadn't heard of them. I may have to purchase a cd. I was looking to see if they were playing around here and they are later in the year. It could be fun to go see them. :thmbsp:

Duke can definitely play the guitar. I've heard him playing more traditional jazz and enjoyed his performance...and he does some nice swing too! He's more on the jazz side of swing blues than the blues side. I love listening to new tunes.

I wasn't sure how to catorgorize, Put A Lid On It, by Squirrel Nut Zippers either. Glad you liked it. maybe closer to a charleston type dance. :D

One more off the wall song. The Curly Shuffle-Jump'N The Saddle Band. Many more. Just don't have them with me right now or remember. :D
