HDMI Cables

My Panasonic TH42PX25U/P HD Plasma is currently connected to my Cablevision HD DVR via a generic HDMI cable. I am wondering if there are any better HDMI cables or is there no difference when it comes to this type of cable? Salespeople, in the stores, of course, want to sell the Monster cable.

I don't think there is a difference, maybe as far a shielding, but that is all. Just get a decent brand and spend what you like.

Digital is digital is digital. . . However some say length is critical. . . . I know I paid 150.00 for mine before I knew my player came with one. . . I kept it as it is a "Good" one so I am told. . .
