Some may have noticed that the old classifieds have been reopened for viewing only. This is to let those that have ads in there copy them to the new classifieds which are now open.

Please save any pictures or text from the old classifieds that are important to you as that forum will be deleted in 7 days. Thank you

Very neat, unfortunately I will not touch Paypal with a stick so if anyone thinks I might have something they want they will have to PM me.

There's nothing in the new classifieds - no posts, nothing - not even a 'welcome'

Hmm, strange. I can see them fine, both at work and at home, and with all 3 browsers I use (Firefox, IE, Netscape).

It is set up so that the $2 charge for "for sale" ads is to be paid through Paypal.
Maybe some alternative can be set up?

Tried Mozilla, Firefox, IE.

All I see is a blue bar with one dot on the left and three dots on the right. :scratch2:

I found out the problem - I had to turn off Norton Internet Security's "Ad Blocker". Then the new classifieds load properly. Looks good, BTW.

I dont know about everyone else but I kinda liked how the old ones were, in that you could just basically click one link and browse everything. Instead of having 20 different links to click. Since for me anyway, i dont look at the classifieds to buy something. Just more to browse it and see whats there.

I certainly dont think i was being negative about it. I guess i am the only one who wishes there was a way to view all at once. Call me crazy. At least its organized now.

Anyway, are the "Wanted to Buy" adds free?

thank you.

Can I prepay to AK and post ADs when the payment is acknowledged? If not then I guess I will have to return to eBay.

I noticed my ad says "SOLD IT!" which is not correct, and I don't see how to change that. Can someone help me with that?

Rich

I think your looking at the Sold It tab. You click that when it has sold.

OK, thanks, Grumpy, I see - and I don't see that tab on other people's ads because the system knows it is me? Sorry about that.

I logged in, and I got to this forum when I tried to set up to post something. In it, grumpy has his 1.5 cents. I don'g know how to get it to work. I'll try going back, and disabling my Norton. But, I don't want to. God knows, I've had enough computer problems.... I have firewalls up the ying yang, and I need them. They keep attacking me. The good news, I've stopped the attacks..... :naughty: :naughty: :naughty: Hey, guys, what's the new forum like? Give me a hint, so I know I've reached it.

I believe in Norton you can allow just AK to be allowed access while still blocking everything else.

Don't turn off Norton Internet Security, just turn off the ad-blocker, in NIS.
