I picked up a pretty clean little Dual 1237 in the thrift today. I admit knowing nothing about Dual tables- this one has non-removable headshell, with no cart mounted. Question is- how DO you mount a cartridge in this thing- is there a separate mounting piece that somehow attaches to this headshell and makes contact at the back of the headshell instead of good old-fashioned leads coming out of the arm like I'm accustomed to? Any help is appreciated.

This may help some, I hope:

Perhaps that last one will enable you to find a model similar to yours, Jason, so you can figure out what you might need to buy from THIS page:

Hope this gives you some good leads.

I can't believe that no one answered your question. Your model appears to use cartridge clip CH-12. [236-242]
Go to their site, and be certain I am correct about the clip, and order it. The owner of this repair shop is very honest.
If your budget doesn't allow such extravigance, then go to eBay for one.
