And you thought your fender bender was costly.

This Lamborghini Murcielago was rear ended. Has been repaired now and going for the bargain price of $195K

I suppose they would look like that if I drove them  .

5 million horsepower & 8 million ft/lbs of torque? Yeah baby!

Still, if I wrecked one I'd prolly cry. It'd raise your insurance from $1000/ month to at least 3.

Pretty expensive for a Volkswagen. IIRC, VW bought them...

Might handle a bit better than an old beetle though!

My uncle has made a living off buying and rebuilding exoticars since the the late 60's- Jags, Lambo's and Maserati's mostly. He's got two mid 80's Countach's in his garage now, one destined to be rebuilt. The other is getting a Hemi put in it somehow (he also does street rods). He's great at taking two "wrecks" and creating a car out of it somehow.

Thanx for nearly bringing me to tears with those pix:(. As a car nut, those show a true lack of appreciation by the driver for fine machinery, if they were indeed the drivers' fault. If they were the other guys', then I hope their insurance goes sky high.

Well, at least they weren't Duesenbergs, Silver Ghost Rolls-Royces, SSKL Mercedes, or any more of a bunch of classics I could name. Still hurts, though. I'd bawl if it was my '67 Lincoln that got it...-Sandy G.
