Hi, Ed, welcome to AK! Best dadgummed audio board on the Net.

The A-10 is from 1977-79, and is rated at 85 RMS wpc. It retailed for $465.
I have some Onkyo gear, and it is of excellent quality and sound. Should be a very sweet integrated amp.

Bully said dadgummed, that must mean he is older than I am. For those of you who do not know me, rest assured Bully must be very old indeed. :naughty:

I never had the A-10, but I had the A-7, and I loved that thing. The power supply caps were gigantic (23,000Fd, 50V each!). A very well done 65WPC. Clean and elegant design.

In a massive mistake that I will never forgive myself for, I traded it for a Sony HT receiver. :twak:

If ever I found one again (or the A-10, for that matter) I would lock it up in a safe deposit box to prevent such foolishness in the furture.

 I own an A-10 and an A-5 and, in my opinion, they are some of the best sounding integrated amplifiers I have ever listened to.

4 ohm RMS power almost doubles, according to the spec sheet. Impressive performance indeed!
