View Full Version : Can't Access Audiokarma.org ?

Many of you are already aware when you type in Audiokarma.org that you are being sent to a bogus website. We want you to know, we have not been hijacked, but the registar that handles our domain name messed up. When the Audiokarma.org domain name expired and was auto-renewed, there was an error in the redirect, sending some of the people logging in to the domain to the wrong site.

We have been in contact with the registrar and they are working to correct the problem. We appologize for all the confusion and misunderstandings around Audiokarma's apparent disapperance. We hope to have this fixed in a few day. In the mean time, we are still here: http://204.10.140.18

Sorry about the difficulties you folks are having with the web address etc. I am able to access the site using the (new) former address and now the newest address. However, when I attempt to access the chat, I am driven back to the BOGUS site again and again. How do I fix this? Am I alone with this issue?

http://204.10.140.18/ads/ will get you into the classifieds, as well.

That gets us into the Ads page but we still can't get "into" the ads.

Jimmy, if you are determined to browse the ads, before the DNS problem is straightened out, you can copy & paste the IP, 204.10.140.18, into every link, in the place of 'audiokarma.org'. It will take a while, but you CAN get in. The only thing you cannot do is look at a javascript thumbnail. any pic which has a 'supersize' link can be seen, by opening in a new window, and then c&P the IP in the URL.

Just got back on tonight, neither link worked for me.

But I was having other unrelated computer problems a long with this one :sigh:

Is there any way to prevent those people who created the bogus site from using the name?
Sue them perhaps?
