Can anyone tell me how I can contact tech support or find a driver for the SVP 7.0 MP digital camera that will make it compatible with Windows XP. I'm at my wits' end with this thing. I can't download the pictures I've taken onto my computer because it is imcompatible with XP. I can't find an updated driver for it, nor can I find tech support for it. It came with Ulead 8.0 software, but their tech support can't help me. They say to contact the camera's tech support.

Welcome to AK, Daubett. This site is a real treat.
I was looking at http://www.svp-tech.com/ at the various models, but I don't know which yours is. XP should auto-recognize a digital camera as a Removeable Drive (with letter) in "My Computer" when you connect it to a USB port on your PC. You should be able to double-click on it there to open it up to see and move the picture files. If you're using a memory card in the digicam, you should be able to remove it and put the card in a card reader and directly access the digital images, too.
A friend of mine got a no-name digicam from Wal-Mart last week and never bothered with any of the software that came with it. XP just recognized it and automatically self-installed the necessary generic drivers to see it as a digicam. Then he used Paint Shop Pro to work with the images.
SVP's "support" is at http://www.svp-tech.com/Technical.htm
Best o' luck!

If it was me, I'd just snag a cheap 6-1 card reader and use that instead of the camera anyway. Why use the camera for something other than taking pictures? The card reader is cheap, fast and is compatible with XP. I use a Centrios reader and it was plug'n'play using a USB port.

If You Find A Driver For Your Camera Please Let Me Know. I Have Sent Four E-mails To Svp Tech. Support With No Feed Back. The "my Computer" Doesn't Work. It Show No Driver Installed. So I Have Pictures In My Camera And Can't Load Them In My Computer. Any Suggestions?

Same as Proac - dump the camera software and plug your card into your computer. Most of the camera software I've seen is nearly impossible to use unless you've had a year's experience with it.
Photoshop Elements here - about $90 bucks or so and it's way smarter than me. :D

I got my son an SVP DV6688 MPEG4 cam and it works great on XP. Maybe the camera you got has a problem.
