Sounds like fun Rick... do we get a chance to audition IB's new Kappas?? :D
I'm only about an hour away, so I would certainly make an effort to attend.
Summer time can be a difficult time to pick dates that please everyone... probably the latter half of August would be a better bet from my perspective. (just my 2 cents..)

I'm spending the last two weeks of July in the GTA. If it happens to take place then, I'll do my best to show.
I'm also in the area next weekend. If any of you are nearby the Ramada -Toronto Don Valley. I'll be available for beers the afternoon of the 17th or breakfast of the 18th. Have a wedding to attend on Saturday at the Millitary college.
I can also deliver/pickup any small items you may want moved across country without the hassle of Canada-Post.

Ah YES HE DOES !!!! :)
I offered him my old PC but it's probably not worth spending the $$ to put the required components back in. You can buy a used PC complete for less than it would cost for new RAM and a HDD.

Too early to tell, but I would like to make that one, for sure. Depends on the date.

Maybe for me but my late summer is real busy. I would like to get a few AK'ers over to my place real soon as well but my place is kinda small so I can't accommodate many, at least not in the listening room at one time.
Hey Krimney, end of July is a good time to be in TO, beaches Jazz fest is the weekend of the 23rd. Let me know if you have any time to play, we can check out some live music, audio interestings in the city or you can come up to my place for listen.

I'll travelling with my two daughters, 10 and 13. Most of my activities will revolve around them. They know dad has an obsession with vinyl and speakers but this trip is really for them. It will be my youngests first time on an airplane too.
I'll be visiting my brother in Whitby and heading up to Kincardine for a few days.

Sounds like fun for the girls, especially the airplane travel, I am so tired of dicking around in airports and planes but I'm always amazed at how much fun kids seem to be having when doing that.
Hey, let me know anyway, my wife is always happy to have some kids around (she is growing one right now :D ) so we could have you all over some evening and maybe squeeze in a little listening room time in. I live in Newmarket just north of TO and work in Ajax, right next to Whitby.

My youngest is quite excited about her upcoming first flight. My oldest has made a couple international flights( S.Africa and Hungary) as well as some local trips so it's no big deal for her.
This air travel thing is kind of funny when you think about it. It's been around for yrs but many have still not flown. My dad didn't get on a plane until he was retired and flew out to my brothers wedding.
I've thought about finding cheap flights in order to deliver gear. A couple receivers as checked luggage could well save a few hundred in shipping costs. Bring back a couple more and the shipping saved could be 400.00, enough to pay for most of an airline ticket :scratch2:

Hey, St. Catherines is only about 90 miles from where I live. I'd be interested, unless it's for Canadians only.

Canadians are way too polite for that, Cleve. Besides, if Kam makes it, then it is an international event. Of course, shelby could have Kam and you made honourary Canadians, that would eliminate the border crisis. You asked about coming, so politely, you're already half way to being Canadian. :lmao:

Oh yeah a great time was had by all. Weather was a little dicey but it never dampened the enthusiasm. Food was first rate and the tunes ( at least downstairs) were beautiful.
Next year can't get here fast enough.

I can't say enough about the hospitality Rick and Rachael showed us when we dropped by. My kids didn't want to leave.
Mike , those little 4 inch drivers are very impressive indeed and have given me some ideas for some of my spare parts...if I ever find time.
The BA system is very appealing to look at and listen to. The sound from the OHM just seems so effortless.
thanks again Rick and if you(or any AKer) are ever out West, please drop in.
