I grow roses for the wife and before I picked this one. I thought I'd try and get a close up.

Now if someone would pay attention to the color I like.. well then we would be great. I know most women prefer red roses for love... however my favorite are pink and purple roses. I have several rose bushes in my garden as well and my one purple has a fragrance to it as well as the one red rosebush that was here when we moved in.

This one was the last blossom on this bush...It blossomed on our aniversary in 2003...I just happened to take a picture of it ...

The bush didn't survive the harsh winter we had.. :sigh:
