Well to go along with all those summer meals on the grill... Here are a couple receipes.
JELLO PIE
Ingredients: hot water, cold water, ice, 1 packge of jello, and 1 8oz tub cool whip and 1 graham cracker pie crust.
you will need to have 2/3 cup hot water, 1 package of jello.
Stir those together unti disolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, fill rest of cup with ice to make 1 cup.
Keep stirring until the ice is melted it will be slightly thick. DO NOT LEAVE THE FEW ICE CHIPS IN THE JELLO, TAKE THEM OUT! Gently with a wire wisk beat in 1 80z tub of cool whip.
Put this in the refridge for 15-20 min (or until a little on the thick side) Spoon this out and put into pie crust.
Refridgerate this for about 4-5 hours. Serve with cool whip on top if you prefer and garnish with a cut piece of fruit depending upon which flavor jello you use.
I received this idea from my aunt. Turned out great.

Lemon Pie
Ingredients: 2 cups cold milk, 2 packages of lemon instant pudding (the 4oz size), 1 pie crust and 1 8oz container cool whip.
Pour milk into bowl and add dry pudding mixes. Beat with wisk 2 minutes or well blended. This will be thick.
Spread 1 1/4 cups onto bottom of crust. Stir 1/2 cool whip into remaining pudding. Spread that over the bottom layer. Spread cool whip over top.
Refridgerate 4-5 hours.
This is another receipe i received from my aunt. If you do not like lemon, im sure that you could substitute.

Chocolate pudding is a good substitute, or vanilla pudding, with sliced bananas on the bottom.
Mmmmm, desserts! Better than grilled meat!
(I'm in trouble now, my sweet tooth just kicked into overdrive)

Ernie,
Now i have to pick my brain for more ideas...
The only other receipe i can give you all is for my banana cake, zucchini bread, and chocolate chip cookies.
Other than that... i should sit and think and see what i have in my book. This might turn out to be a really long thread. :D

I hope so. I have some cake recipes you might like, if you are adventurous. Do you bake cakes from scratch? I have a Sour Milk Chocolate Cake, and a Walnut Torte (Slovak recipe), both are to die for. Add some Saunders Butter Cream Frosting (Ask Nancy about Saunders) and you have a little slice of heaven on earth.
Cookies in the food processor are the easiest, and finish nicely. You convert the recipe of your favourite so that you mix in the Cuisinart. Piece of cake. Or, maybe I should say, it's a snap.
(Alan, are you getting these?)

RECIPE
Crust:
20 reduced-fat vanilla wafers
1 tablespoon canola oil
Filling:
16 ounces (1-percent) cottage cheese (about 2 cups)
8 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel), cut into pieces
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch salt
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
2 Tablespoons finely chopped lemon zest
Topping:
Fresh whipping cream - or just use Reddi Wip
Fresh mint sprig, for garnish
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Coat a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray. Wrap the outside of the pan with a double thickness of foil. Put a kettle of water on to boil for the water bath.
To make crust: Pulse vanilla wafers in a food processor into fine crumbs. Add oil and pulse to blend. Press crumb mixture evenly into bottom of prepared pan. (Rinse and dry the workbowl.)
To make filling: Process cottage cheese in food processor until very smooth and silky, stopping to scrape down the sides once or twice. Add cream cheese and process until smooth. Add 1 cup sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla and salt; process until well blended. Add eggs and pulse several times just until mixed in. Sprinkle in lemon zest and mint; mix with a rubber spatula. (Do not process.) Scrape the filling into the crust-lined pan.
Place the cheesecake in a shallow roasting pan and pour in enough boiling water to come 1 inch up the outside of the springform pan. Bake until the edges are set but the center quivers slightly, 50 to 55 minutes. Turn off the oven. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven, with the door ajar, for 1 hour.
Remove foil from pan. Cover cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
Put mint spring in middle. - cut and serve each piece with a dollop of whipping cream.
