Saw them at Goodwill. Should I go back and get them? Cabinets were great, grills had two minor nicks. I have SP30s, 200, 2500X, 5500X and 9000X, do I really need another pair?

MD, I have a wanted ad posted for a single "working" tweeter from one in case you buy the SP-1500's and end-up parting them out. Also, I do have a spare woofer, and midranges for them if you need any of those parts. Thanks!! :)

Do the midrange drivers have a chrome looking dust cover? I thought they looked kinda funny like maybe they were replacements or something. The dust caps were really like mirrored shiney.

Hi Ed,
The mid does use a metal voice coil cap!! Attached is a picture of a typical pair of Sansui SP-1500's, this pair is not mine. This link to my home page shows the tweeter I'm looking for; http://www.home.earthlink.net/~dwojo/index.html
Thanks, Dave.

The pair I saw had two mid's with the metal caps, and I think they were offset to the left as the tweeters are to the right in the above photo.

Well I went back and they are gone, but I did get a Pioneer SX1000TW for $10.00 so I don't feel so bad. I put a pic in the solid state area.
