Check this out. 4 Engine plane (http://www.yumlum.com/fly_airplane/fly_airplane.htm) Filmboydoug 06-20-2005, 10:36 PM That is the funniest thing I have seen in weeks... I'm gonna try this out! Sandy G 06-20-2005, 10:41 PM Awww, chit !! Any you fellers ever tie a string around a June Bug's leg & let him fly on a leash ?....,grin>-Sandy G. LBPete 06-20-2005, 10:43 PM Not so far fetched. When my daughter was little, she would catch these big green flying beetles. They were about as big as your thumb to the first knuckle. She would tie kite string around their neck like and fly them on that leash. It was pretty funny to watch. Somewhere we have a video of her doing it. - Pete Sandy G 06-20-2005, 10:55 PM Pete-Yeah, those guys are what we here call "June Bugs". Lotsa fun for kiddies, cause they're harmless. Another "fun" bug was a praying Mantis-They were smart enuff to be aware of you. I'd catch 'em, offer 'em water in a spoon, & raw hamburger meat on a toothpick.-Sandy G. LBPete 06-20-2005, 11:11 PM Sandy, these beetles are much bigger than a june bug. They would come around when the fig tree was ripe and feed on the rotting figs. - Pete RussinOhio 06-20-2005, 11:41 PM :D Russ skippy_ps 06-20-2005, 11:47 PM Good one Andy. If in stand of those flyes it'll be you? cabinover 06-21-2005, 05:35 AM It is us, most of us work for a factory I'd bet. Manitoulin 06-21-2005, 12:23 PM With some of the blackflies and horseflies in Northern Ontario, you could make a man sided airplane. These things have been seen flying off wiht small critters, so the legends say... |
