Well let first let me say up front that this is no "Bring the Family" or "Crossing Muddy Waters", but what is right? I also have to admit that I had to give it a couple listens before I started warming up to it. Now it stands on its own for what it is - a solid Memphis rocker with moments of retrospect as well as introspect. Hiatt's touch is present throughout - up, down and the usual comedic relief scattered here and there. All and all a worthy addition to any collection.

BTW: The SACD layer is wonderful! Think natural

I liked it,far better than his last. I like Hiatt when he tones it down a bit.Classics like Icy Blue Heart, Buffalo River Home,Alone In The Dark. That kind of stuff
