Ok, I don't know how, but Deadman has managed to stay under my radar - until now. Picked up Paramour this weekend and immediately searched out anything else by them I could find. Ended up finding two EPs - Cuatro Canciones and In the Heart of Mankind, and found out that they have another full release scheduled for later this summer.
These guys are seriously, wickedly good, I kid you not. Think dark, reflective, raw, and dreamlike. Husband and wife, Steven and Sherilyn Collins whip up a sound that is a mix of post-grunge rock and Americana. Laid back, ethereal and in your face. Check them out, you won't be sorry.
