You might try sellow on E bay. I've done business with them, and so far so good. jackssmallengines has parts as well. Or, just buy a hungry goat.

Put in a call to my Dad, who has a small-yard-machine repair shop (lawnmowers, rotor tillers, weed-eaters, etc). He was out, so I left a message with Mom... hopefully, she'll be able to communicate what we need to him... :)
Regards,
Gordon.

If the Craftsman was built by MTD they are quite reasonable with parts prices. We used to have a small MTD and I always figured them to be the Zippo lighters of yard machines, dead simple and run forever. Only reason I bought the Ariens was because it had the biggest deck - 60 inches.

All I wanna do is borrow one. I want to see my wife's reaction as she pulls in the driveway and a busted up lookin airplane (or better yet a helicopter) is sitting on our front lawn
My neighbors that know me wouldn't be surprised at all :lmao:

Tim, are you looking for a geared ie:6 speed w/reverse or one of the jobbies that works with belts and simply has a forward and reverse? I have a Sears parts tractor that I'd be glad to pull it out of. I'll see just what it has in it and repost this morning. Bob

Sorry Tim, I did look it over and it's just a 3 spd with reverse from an older 11HP machine. If you'd like it, let me know and I'll get it out there for ya!!
BTW, Sears is very good with their parts on the web. www.sears.com
I have an old machine and can still get most parts, much better than trying to get old motorcycle parts for sure.
