View Full Version : Where to get schematic for AU-517?

I have an old (25 years) Sansui AU517 integrated amp laying around that has an intermittent channel, and I would fix it if I knew where I could get a schematic.
A common cause of an intermittent channel with these AU amps is a dirty connected/separated switch on the back. You can probably verify this by just switching it back and forth to see if the channel comes back. (you'll need to remove the little clear plastic 'stop' piece) But the real fix is to get at it from inside and clean it real good with contact cleaner. See the 'Sansui Amp Problem' thread from a few days ago.

If you still need a schematic- I have the Service manual for the AU-717/517. B/F.

Yes, I still would like to have a schematic if you would be willing to
make a copy or something. A PDF would be ideal.

That site doesn't have any Sansui service manuals.

servicemanuals.net is swarming with Sansui manuals.
You have to look under Orion,Sansui or lok for a specific model number
