Howdy!
The amp is still in very good shape, but the balance control is starting to show signs of wear, especially when I wiggle it. Cleaning it hasn't helped (except to eliminate the usual static when I move it), and it can still cause a channel to cut out if I move it just right. It's really a shame -- I've really enjoyed this amp since I got it about 17 years ago. This is one of the coolest integrated amps produced in its day.
Does anyone know where I can get ahold of a good balance control? Maybe someone's got an old 9500 that's just been sitting around to cannibalize parts from?
I also lost a really nice, color-coded, full size schematic for it when I sent it in to the repair shop. (Thieves!!!) Anyone know where I can get another one of these?
