Is coming to Birmingham Alabama, next month. JDaniel and I thought this would be a great chance for us to have weekend get together with some others that share our passion for great stereo gear, and vinyl, and maybe, just maybe share our passion for ice cold beer. Although I have never attended this event, my wife has, and she says it is the REAL DEAL!
The show is just a few blocks off of I-65 in Birmingham. Y'all think about and post here, or PM JDaniel, or me. It would be a grand time for all. We could help you find lodging, or what ever you need.

Bump as a reminder.

OMI or WhiteSE or anybody else going to come to Birmingham this weekend?

We are planning on getting there around 9 or 10 a.m. to shop, then go have some lunch and a frosty cold one.

Reply here or PM me if you are coming to the show.

Hey Alabama folks:

Give us a report on the record show. Would loved to have gone today but couldn't make it happen.

The record show was fun for all. Lot's of people and lot's of vinyl. A very good Alabama AK turnout. It was a bit crowded, but was a good time for all.
JDaniel had to hire a tractor trailer to get all of his finds home. He also showed up with only one twin, so the other one may have been bartered as well. All together, there were 5 AK'rs at the show. OMI (Oren), sans wig, but he did have his 5lb moustache, old school (Billy) & his wife Terry, jpollock, (JP), JDaniel (Jeff), and yours truly with my wife Janis. I brought my camera and forgot to snap a pick. :(
jpollock left with a sack full of Doors vinyl, and I think OMI got a CD. We had lunch at the world famous Dreamland BBQ in historic Southside, along with some cold beverages. JD's son Nick asked how I could eat banana puddin, and wash it down with a Bud. I told him it was an adult thing, and he would understand in about 12 years. :)
I hit a Roy Buchanan gold mine, leaving with 4 of his albums.
My scores are listed in the "Music Score" thread.
