Picked up at an estate sale today with an orphaned speaker for $5.00. Powers up fine and seems to find stations but haven't hooked up to an amp yet. Anyone have any info on this tuner? Thanks

Thanks mhardy6647 07-15-2005, 08:57 PM An interesting piece of hardware, especially for $5 see here: http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/audioghosts.html http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/AJ-1510a.jpg hakka26 07-15-2005, 09:44 PM Wow! Thanks for the quick reply and info. Now I know what the cards (1 original 2 homemade) cards are for. I'm going to hook it up to a 1060 and see what happens. I need to return and pick up some things I left behind so I'm going to look for a manual. hakka26 07-16-2005, 07:50 PM How a nudie - that is a factory program "punch" card not a label. Don't know how they work but they do. Went to look for a manual no luck. Hooked it up to the Marantz 1020 with great success. All lights working though stereo indicator light only flashes while on weak stations :scratch2:. Good sound, I think, need to get it off the bench to really test.http://65.219.61.150/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=35726&stc=1 bolly 07-16-2005, 07:58 PM HEATHKIT TUNER, AJ-1510 Description: Manufacture Years: 1972 - 1975 Additional Information: Power: Retail MSRP: $350.00 USED: $115.00 |
