Great news for all you Jaime Brockett fans. This long-lost classic album is back in print. I just received my copy from CD Universe and am listening to it as I type.

This is the album that contains the song "Legend of the U.S.S. Titanic," which contains a hilarious fictional account of why the ship really sank. Hint: it involved several hundred feet of hemp rope. The album also include Brockett's ode to Spiro Agnew, "Talkin' Green Beret New Super Yellow Hydraulic Banana Teeny Bopper Blues."

This is a truly legendary album that belongs in the collection of all true music lovers. :smoke:

A few weeks ago on the local public radio Sunday afternoon roots/Americana show, I heard what I suspect is that Titanic song- was about 15 minutes long, and about 10 minutes into it, I actually called the station. To complain. Not trying to hate on yr thread at all, but in all honesty and seriousness, that was some supremely irritating stuff.

Well they wouldn't let old Jack Johnson on board. Said this boat don't honor no co' fo' Faretheewell Titantic faretheewell. It's been over twenty years since I heard that tune. I'd probably remember more of the lyric if that blasted rope hadn't gotten in the way........ :smoke:

Well, I guess the world would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things. I guess you just need to be in the right frame of mind to appreciate Jaime Brockett's music.

Hmmm.... :scratch2:

Mebbe you need to find some of that rope. :smoke:
