I watched Lyle Lovett and the Large Band on Letterman last night. He sang one of my fav. LL songs - She's Hot To Go.

They advertised that tonight Elvis Costello and Emmy Lou Harris would be on.

Ooo..a reason to stay up later (or tape it). Can't miss Elvis. I went to a taping of Letterman a few years back. Seems they schedule guests and then have back ups since folks "get busy". Still was a fun time. Met Paul in a service entrance at a bar on Beale in Memphis back in the da 80s. Sitting in traffic next to Jerry Lee one day. Met Jimmy Vaughn in a bar lobby. Those were the days to be in Memphis.
