For those who care, I set up a quick and dirty packing station. I mounted the bubble wrap on the ceiling like a roll of toilet paper with some wood scraps and a doll rod and used a box with a fold-up slide for peanuts. Total cost = $0.75.
The packed up Pioneer box at the bottom of the photo sits on one of those rolling AV carts I picked up at an auction. It has become really handy around the garage.
I'm so glad I did it, the ease of use and lack of post packing peanut pick-up is wonderful.
If you have the space and do even a small amount of shipping, it's well worth the time.
