Just a reminder.

If you can't be there live, just massage the Yahoo prerankings to suit your fancy, and the computer will pick the highest rated player for you, unless it's an extra starter (like a 2nd QB) and you haven't filled all your starting roster spots. Yahoo fills your starters first, but if your live you can do whatever you like. Heck, you can pick 6 kickers if you want :scratch2:

Usually takes an hour or so, but maybe longer if we have a big group with a lot of guys live.

BTW, there is a chat area, so we can abuse each other while waiting our turns.

Yahoo will set the draft order 30 minutes before the draft and it curls around; last man 1st round is 2nd man 2nd round.

C-ya there!!

Andy, I have one question about the draft. One of the guys in another league I'm running was complaining about the proposed use of the "serpentine method" in our draft, where the last pick in the 1st round has the 1st pick in the next round. Isn't that the standard method most leagues use? He wants us to redraw positions every two rounds.

Yet, you said that Yahoo tweaks it so that the last pick in the 1st round gets the 2nd pick in the following round. To keep that player from getting two consecutive selections [his gripe]. Just curious how does this works and who gets the 1st pick in the 2nd round?

Once you're logged on and viewing your league's homepage how are you prompted to participate in the draft? Is there a popup link or something? Thanks and see ya tonight!

Mike:
It is serpentine, ie; last pick first round gets 1st pick 2nd round.
Actually, I think that's fairer, especially when you draw from scratch. In our league w/14 teams the picks add to 29, 1 and 28, 14 and 15, etc. 3 and 26, etc.

I gotta run. My brother showed up in town and i gotta go get him so I can be back in time for the draft.

C-ya tonight

To keep this simple we should have avoided crap like this draft. Leaving it up to the computer is the only way the league is not dominated by football geeks.

Andy can you delete my team ? Thanks
