A CDR arrived in the mail yesterday - it's of a 1984 live performance of Midnight Oil broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour.

I'll never forget the first time I saw Peter Garrett "dance" in the Power and the Passion video. I wasn't sure if he was on some meds or needed some. :smoke:

I might go listen to that tune right now.

I really like "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1" - "Short Memory" from that album is one of my all-time favorite Midnight Oil songs.

As a member of one of those flaky record clubs in the early 90's, I got the live album "Scream in Blue" because I didn't send in the stupid postcard that month.

Probably one of the best live albums I've ever heard.

As a member of one of those flaky record clubs in the early 90's, I got the live album "Scream in Blue" because I didn't send in the stupid postcard that month.

Probably one of the best live albums I've ever heard.

I got stuck with more unwanted albums than I care to remember. That stupid card did me in every time.

sure thing Mark. as i was rummaging around i found another live show that i didnt even know i had on CD. it is the Wave Aid gig, Midnight Oil's last ever performance. i have the show on DVD, but i didnt know about the CD. i'll get that out soon.

you should try "The Real Thing". 4 studio cuts with the rest of the CD a live acoustic set that is maybe even better than "Scream In Blue".
