I have been offered a custom pair of 300B monoblocks, and here is the blurb:

"These are single ended triode w/ directly heated 300Bs in
parallel. The transformers are from One Electron and John
Atwood(the famous tube guru) designed these amps and these are
his transformers. These also have Bybee filters, JJ 300Bs, and
Hovland Musicaps. In addition, resident deHavilland genius Kara Chaffee has gone through these amps and "cleaned them up"/modified them."

I am curious enough to trade one of my Berning' amps for this..

I'm running 300B and am very happy with it. (just look at my signage)

I'd say if you have some pretty efecient speakers (95db on up) go for it as they sound
and look like something nice. But that's just my thinking!

Paralled 300Bs should give you plenty of power. These would go great with some Altec VOTs.
