I know a lot of folks don't like the movie "Tommy", but I must say the soundtrack has a LOT of good music on it.

I gave this old soundtrack a listen today. Played through my Altec 19 speakers.....it was a cool listen session!

Ann Margarets vocals throughout are just wonderful. That lady had a voice!

Guess I'm not one of those people as I very much enjoyed Tommy when it came out. I was front and center. Whew, Ann Margret mmmmmmmmmmm one of my favorite sweeties of all time. :yes:

There is a rare version of Tommy performed with The London Symphony Orchestra. It is absolutely sensational. I highly recommend trying to find it if your're a Tommy fan. Also the SACD of the original Tommy album is superb.

The LSO Tommy is pretty good too. I don't think it is particularly rare, though.

Pinball Wizard , I'm Free , Go To The Mirror and Sensation , are Rock Classics from one of the best Rock Bands ever.

I have it! I recorded it years ago when it came out on my Garrard AT-60 turntable / Shure M55E to my Sony TC-600 reel to reel. Later I transferred it to VHS Hi Fi. Still sounds great!
I think I have the soundtrack for the movie on vinyl.
