The saga continues... I found a dead DP-62L to get a tonearm assembly off of to repair mine, But... When it arrived the tonearm is slightly damaged. It works, but it is not perfect so the search continues! It is nice to be listening to vinyl again, though!

Are there enough good parts between the two to make one good arm?

Unfortunately, they are both damaged at the same place. One is just not as bad.

What I have is; the barrel (forgive the description of the part as I don't know what it is actually called) where the counter weights hang on the backside of the arm is broken off on mine and bent on the replacement.

Hey Tommy, sorry I can't help you in your search but................ I own a Denon DP-62L, like you, and a DL-160 MC cart almost like you. I can tell you it's a great turntable and it's worth fixing! I've not heard the DL-103 cart but many say it's not too different from the 160 - who knows. I love my TT and it's sound and I'm sure that when you get yours all wrapped up you'll be totally impressed by yours too.
