I useta have a 78 Corolla Liftback with a 5-spd. Had a 1.6 L Hemi. No kiddin. I sold it to a ditzy blonde (sorry, but she was) who I refer to as "like, OK, Beth". :-) yungin's-dad 08-18-2005, 01:23 PM That thing's badass!! In a vintage kinda way!! Ron philo426 08-18-2005, 01:52 PM I think it is a '66 Tornado not a '69.Creative way to make a static trailer self-proelled! THOR 08-18-2005, 08:49 PM I did a search and Miata engines are not Hemis as in hemispherical combustion chamber but are the Miata's combustion chamber, like most DOHC 4-valve motors, is technically "pentroof" whatever the hell that means. I do doubt he has an actual Hemi motor in it as well, while there are tons of ford and small block chevy V8 Miatas and even Rover race engine ones I could not find one Mopar Hemi one, it appears the Hemis are too heavy and too wide too fit in a Miata. That camper is awesome! grumpy 08-18-2005, 09:12 PM That miata was bone stock. least it sounded that way to me. I shot the pic cuz i thought you would get a kick outta it :) VinylHanger 08-19-2005, 08:19 PM Kam would only want that thing if it came with an 8-track. |
