Love that Mazda with the hemi. I useta have a 78 Corolla Liftback with a 5-spd. Had a 1.6 L Hemi. No kiddin. I sold it to a ditzy blonde (sorry, but she was) who I refer to as "like, OK, Beth". :-)

I did a search and Miata engines are not Hemis as in hemispherical combustion chamber but are the Miata's combustion chamber, like most DOHC 4-valve motors, is technically "pentroof" whatever the hell that means.

I do doubt he has an actual Hemi motor in it as well, while there are tons of ford and small block chevy V8 Miatas and even Rover race engine ones I could not find one Mopar Hemi one, it appears the Hemis are too heavy and too wide too fit in a Miata.
