View Full Version : Eden Bass Amp
I thought I'd post a pic of a amp I bought last year. (Thought I had already bragged on it, but apparently had not!) It's one of the tonally richest sounding amps I've ever heard. Tube pre-amp and 400 rock solid watts of output. Has Semi-Parametric Eq, DI balanced out, Send and Return Loop, Stereo In, Speakon outs and build-wise, is simply a thing of beauty.

yeah, i love eden stuff, if i had the cash i'd pick up a WT-800 (world tour 800) but man the front end on those things are killer!

Looks great! I just got an AGuilar DB-680 tube preamp that really sings. I'm still playing it through the power section of my SWR SM-400 which sounds great, but I'd love to get a Crest power amp someday.
Now here's my question for you: Have you tried a Bergantino bass cab yet? Nothing can touch them, just amazing.

No can't say I've had the pleasure. I used to own an Acme Low-B2 cab, but was unhappy with how it's ported cabinet easily unloaded. I ended up building my own sealed 12" cab with a Vifa dual-concentric mid-tweet with a switchable 6dB pad. I've made a few mods to it over the years and am happy to say that it's fairly flat down to 40Hz and only down 6dB @ 30Hz.
It's perfect for practice, studio use and small venues. It's also been lent out and used in the studio by El Buho and Billy Peterson. Here's a pic of it and the internal crossover network.
