I think this Chase for the Cup is the best thing NASCAR ever did.Its so much more exciting this way,like a playoff system.

Yes, I have to agree. I had some reservations when they first announced the Chase but it has proven to be a great way to keep up interest right down to the end.

There certainly where some real boring years in the past where it was all over half way through the year and the old system really rewarded who I call 'points sucks' who would just drone around in the top half of field every weekend and never went for race wins. I would still like to see more points for actual wins but the Chase sure made things better.

I agree with Bill - at first, I thought it was a terrible idea, but it has indeed helped to keep things exciting throughout the season. Richmond ought to be interesting next week - just wish they'd start the races earlier, so it wasn't so hard for me to stay awake until the end ...
