Believe it or not, that is one of the bass shakers that received very high marks in SGHT (I think that's the mag; hard to keep em straight-I read them all). One effect of running shakers, they say, is that you can then turn your acoustic subwoofer down a ways and still get the tactile sense of power. And according to the review, this is an audiophile grade unit, very precise. They say it even improves music playback, which I could see. Imagine huge bass drum whacks or percussive piano strokes.

If I ever get my system to the point where I can "ice the cake" and actually have all the main pieces nailed down, I'd like to buy a couple Buttkickers.
