Heres a couple shots of my new vintage 85' Robin Medley with a Kahler tremelo. Needs to have the neck/Kahler set up but otherwise is near mint!!

Very Nice LPD.... very nice indeed !!!
The tremelo looks a lot like my Floyd Rose on my Peavey, really smooth action. :thmbsp:

The Tremelo is a Kahler "Steeler Pro" which is essentially a copy of the Floyd Rose with a few subtle improvements (to some and not to others) :D One of the features I like on the Kahler is that you don't have to cut the ends off of the strings to restring the guitar.

This guitar is beautiful and is a nice addition to the family.

Nice Robin! I jammed with a great guitarist around here that was a real Robin maniac. I think he had about 6 of them. Most were older models. In the past I had a Charvel with a Kahler bar like yours. Keep the brass wheels lubricated. They can bind up and using the bar as the string runs across the locked wheel will grind a flat spot. Then you have tuning problems. Just a FYI :thmbsp:

I've got 2 Robin's in my collection one circa 85' and the other is a 90's Prototype of the Avalon Sport (Les Paul Junior copy). Both are outstanding guitars. I'm taking the guitar to a friends for a tuneup as it hasn't been played in years and looks drop dead mint. The paint is stunning with no flaws. I found a page on maintenec for Kahlers and thanks for the info. They are alot more work than a tune-o-matic style bridge but once dialed in apparently they will really shine through.
