Clear Channel planning to burn concerts to cd live

The Clear Channel Audio is proposing to record live gigs & burn 'em to cd to have for sale at the end of the concert. Like, with the t-shirts and stuff.

I find that a cool idea - I bet those CD's will become very collectible over time.

If they get them thom the mixing borad output it may be decent sounding. Remember that Joe Jackson's Big World album was recorded that way, although they made sure the audience didn't clap or cheer - just music.
