zenith 8a02 radio

this console radio is missing the speaker. looks to be about a 12"
wires going to the caps on the tubes are rotten. the chassis will have to be recapped and rewired as needed. can i use a standard speaker with a large wirewound resistor instead of the coil and what ohm resistor will i need. thanks steve

i have the speaker for that radio, and the chassis--i got it a few years ago. the cabinet was trashed . if you are interested in anything, e-mail me, and we will see if we can deal.
