"At one time, Santa Cruz hosted a brussels sprouts festival, but it died due to a lack of interest."
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
But TAKE HEART, ye true believers: those wild and crazy folks in New Brunswick, CA party their sprout-loving asses off :
Sproutin' in Rogersville (http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/en-CA/Products/Festival/48539991-77B2-4B9D-9DCD-F2CA030193B9.htm)

Gilroy still has its garlic festival, right? The "Stinking Rose"...
And the area around Santa Cruz was famous for its 'chokes, as I recall from our days in the lovely Silicon Valley...

Oh just wait, I'd love to have a Brussels Sprouts eating contest at the Fest, and give away like an MC240 if I could.......
Just because I'd love to see everyone gorge themselves on them :D . I'd have lined garbage cans at the ready for the :puke:

If you advertised this very far in advance, attendance would plummet.
