I bought my first vintage Sansui on a whim this evening. It is an AU-8500 in pretty good shape. I have not been able to find very much about it so I was hoping you guys might be able to enlighten me a bit about this unit.

Hi Jeff, welcome to AK, very nice unit you have there!!! What kind of speakers are ya hookin it up to??

I am in the process of replacing alot of my modern equipment with a vintage setup. I currently use Triangle Antal 202 speakers which to me sound best with tubes; however, my Rogue Audio tube amp is always broken so am slowly building a new (vintage) system and might eventually get different speakers.
