Recently made some sundried tomato pesto and couldn't believe how many uses I could find for it, ( yes, it even served as a floor polish and topping for your pudding..... :naughty: ).
7oz. jar sundried tomatoes
1/2 cup pine nuts (who knew?)
1/2 cup freshly chopped basil
6 garlic cloves (more or less to taste)
I put everything in a food processor to mush it and use the oil from
the jar to make a paste.
This makes an excellent spread. Put on pizza doh for home-made pizza.
I made prezzles out of pizza doh with this. Tasty! :thmbsp:
