It really depends on your needs. They have soft and hard shells and there is a trade off. I am looking at one of these (http://www.zcover.com/index.html) for my treo 650. If you want a hard shell, I have been using a speck flipstand (http://store.yahoo.com/speckproducts/newflipstand.html) for years with my second gen iPod and love it. It is great protection, but it does add bulk.
