Hello everyone. How do you ship your large (say 30x24x20" 50-100 pound) packages overseas? I've looked in USPS and UPS and can't a surface shipping method that will allow large box's over a certain girth plus length or they have a 70 pound (or 66 pound) weight limit. Is there a link on USPS that I missed? Thanks in advance. - David

Look at DHL....
And remember your excellent packing job could be screwed up by customs inspectors.

Size and weight limit is dictated by what county its destination is. There is not one size fits all here

Thanks for the replys. Grumpy, I want to use USPS Economy (surface) parcel post to Great Britain. According to their site, 66 pounds is the max. Can't find the size limititations. I've found that many shipping methods have a small size limit with Length plus Girth having to be less then 108". Way to small to ship a big receiver "say an SX-1050". What do you usually use when you ship a big amp, receiver etc overseas?
Mark, I'll have to look at DHL again, their website isn't the freindliest for internatioanl shippments. Have you used them for overseas? Thanks again.

I confess to no overseas shipping, but I remembered a v.p of operations boasting years ago that If you wanted to quietly ship a division overseas quickly, DHL could do it... :naughty:
I guess I'm spoiled living near O'Hare, I just drop in at the counters and ask questions...
Good Luck!! :D
