no foolin' guys, that is one monster amplifier. strong as a bull. if it goes for $200, someone will be stealing an excellent amp.

I believe there were three models of the 1801.
One of them had the giant VU meters. Withouth the meters is would be a big hulking black box like my amps! The business end is the side shown.
gotta love big fins. did I mention 250 watts RMS per side?

The No highs, no lows must be Bose refers to the speakers. One of the old Audio guys that I know swears by the Bose 1801s and uses them to drive his Maggie 3.6s. It sounds great. It heats up alot though.

I used to own a 1801 (the one without meters and LEDs) and used it too power Ohm F's which it did nicely until a power surge from the utility took the amp out :mad: . I had it paired up with a SAE 3000 preamp and the sound was great. If the amp goes for $200 to $300 somebody will get a great bargin.
btw I like the new board.
